The following sections provide detailed information about ATLAS (Association for Tourism and Leisure Education) use of your personal information and data. These basic security principles will be modified, if required, e.g. in case of amendments to existing laws.

1. Storage and processing of personal data
ATLAS commits itself to protecting the privacy of all consumers utilising our guarantee, and to handle their personal data in a strictly confidential manner. The main principles of ATLAS' privacy policy are based on the relevant laws in force, such as the Federal Data Protection Law and the Law on Communication and Information Services.
When registering for the ATLAS guarantee, you will be requested to agree to the storage, processing and use of your data by ATLAS. Please note: We cannot offer the ATLAS guarantee without this agreement. In order to handle possible claims arising from the ATLAS guarantee, we require that you provide your name, address, e-mail, the name of the online shop concerned, the total purchase price and the date of delivery agreed upon. While registering for the Trusted Shops guarantee, we do not require any information on the description of the goods purchased, payment method, credit card number or bank account.
We will store your data for handling possible claims. Of course, you can have your data cancelled at any time by sending an e-mail to shop@atlas-euro.org.

2. Use of personal data
Your data will be used exclusively for handling matters pertaining to the ATLAS guarantee; we will store and process only information and data required to process reimbursement claims.
From time to time, ATLAS will conduct internal surveys based upon the information made available to us through your registration and our service to enable us to offer you even better service. These surveys are based only on aggregate, anonymous data and cannot be used to identify an individual user.
We will periodically inform you of new features of ATLAS, such as events or PR campaigns. Please contact us via e-mail at shop@atlas-euro.org if you do not want to receive such information.

3. Transfer of information
Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties. You will receive relevant e-mails only from ATLAS.
ATLAS will not publish any personal information unless the user explicitly consents to the publication or special circumstances arise, e.g. if there is justifiable suspicion that a user of ATLAS has deliberately or inadvertently infringed on the rights or property of ATLAS and/or other users.

4. Correction, blocking and cancellation of personal data
After registration in ATLAS protected area by entering your e-mail address and your personal password, you will be able to check and edit your stored personal information at any time. Please contact shop@atlas-euro.org if you forgot your password or having problems while registering. Please use the link shop@atlas-euro.org in order to cancel your personal data if requested.

5. Security measures to avoid the loss and misuse of protected private data
We use sophisticated encryption technologies to safeguard the strictly confidential transfer of personal data/information such as terms of registration and guarantee. In addition, your personal data is protected by a password. Our servers employ various security and authorisation technologies in order to prevent unauthorised access.
When sharing your computer with others, please keep your password and other relevant information strictly confidential and always close your browser window after you are finished communicating with ATLAS to avoid any unauthorised access to your personal data.
